Free link to the NYTimes article. Dad died at 91 with Parkinsons dementia(luckily not hereditary), Mom at 95 still going strong. I will easily hit 100 because I'm having so much fun in life. Which means I will have stroke disability for half my life.

Research has long shown that health and longevity come down to five fundamental lifestyle behaviors: exercising regularly(Yep), eating a nutritious diet(Not so good), eschewing cigarettes(Yep), limiting alcohol consumption(But this fuels my social connections) and nurturing meaningful relationships(I have lots, usually jazz and trivia at bars).
