conjugated linoleic acid - CLA reduced arterial plaque in animal models

You'll have to ask your doctor about this one, I plan on it since arterial plaque in my carotid was what dissected and eventually caused my stroke.

“Compelling laboratory research has repeatedly demonstrated CLA’s unique capability to actually reverse atherosclerotic plaque formation. ” CLA is conjugated linoleic acid. CLA has prevented and dramatically reduced arterial plaque in animal models. CLA, prevents inflammatory damage and so does cod liver oil (fish oil) too. CLA is found in animal foods like butter, meat, eggs from grass fed animals or pasture raised animals. Not the one fed corn or “vegetarian feed.” You won’t find much CLA in those foods. For example eating eggs from chickens who can roam outside in the sunshine and eat bugs, worms and seeds are healthy for you than the confinement chickens who are mostly fen corn or soy (an unnatural diet for chickens and cows).
