Ninety Percent of Stroke Risk Due to 10 Risk Factors

http://healthomg.com/2011/05/10/ninety-percent-of-stroke-risk-due-to-10-risk-factors/
the 10 factors significantly associated with stroke risk are high blood pressure, smoking, physical activity, waist-to-hip ratio (abdominal obesity), diet, blood lipid (fat) levels, diabetes, alcohol intake, stress and depression, and heart disorders.
Across the board, high blood pressure was the most important factor, accounting for one-third of all stroke risk.
So this makes me wonder if I fell into one of those 10 factors or if I was special and got into the 20%.
There has to be case studies someplace where these statistics are available. With that I assume that my doctor sent my factor to the repository of that information. I wonder how survivors get access to such statistics.

  1. I would think that no one's stroke fall into just one of these factors. Even as rare as it is for to have a stroke at the age of 17 like me, my stroke would being in with stress level and diet.
