Rehabilitation of gait after stroke: a review towards a top-down approach.

Only 42 pages but was interesting in that on page 9-11 it gives 6 types of therapies for gait.Link

I would have liked to be able to choose between the ones available depending on which one had the best success rate for those patients that had similar damage to mine. I know this is not possible today but I can see that as the perfect choice of protocols that everyone should be working toward.

  2. Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF)

  3. Vojta method

  4. Rood technique

  5. Johnstone method

  6. Motor learning techniques
