Dear dean, As a loyal supporter of National Stroke Association, you have been selected to be part of an exclusive study on how we can help you raise awareness about stroke. We want to know what types of items would help you inform others about stroke and how you can become empowered as an individual impacted by it. As you know, many empowered communities raise awareness about disease states, such as breast cancer, mostly by wearing certain colors or articles of clothing with pride. Things as simple as a polo shirt, a bracelet, a refrigerator magnet or post-it notes can inform others about a cause. National Stroke Association knows that you and others in the stroke community want these types of resources—and we’re committed to providing them. But we can’t do it without your help. Your input is essential, because your needs determine what we can provide to you. I invite you to help us by participating in a short online survey about the types of items and resources that would help you raise awareness and educate others. You can answer the survey as a survivor, a caregiver,  healthcare professional or a stroke survivor’s loved one. Thank you for lending your voice to this process. It means more than you can know.
