  1. The 1st time my doctor asked me to go off my blood thinner to do a fecal test for blood in my stool I complied. By the third day I experienced the poor balance that preceded both my strokes. I immediately went back on my blood thinner. I refused to do this test when another doctor asked me to do it. It's good to know being cautious is the right thing to do.
