I blog on anything to do with stroke. DO NOT DO ANYTHING SUGGESTED HERE AS I AM NOT MEDICALLY TRAINED, YOUR DOCTOR IS, LISTEN TO THEM. BUT I BET THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET YOU 100% RECOVERED. I DON'T EITHER BUT HAVE PLENTY OF QUESTIONS FOR YOUR DOCTOR TO ANSWER.

Biking stroke rehab #2 - 2013
I found my velcro pant leg bands and found out that they need two hands to attach so I bought Scunci ponytail holders, they require putting on before shoes. I still need to get a wrist support. I made it out of the parking lot this time and 4 blocks on side streets, turned around and came back. I stopped and walked the last two blocks on the way back. I was mentally exhausted, but in a couple of weeks I'll actually make it another 3 blocks to the start of the bike trail. The exhaustion is because I can't trust my left hand to stay on the handlebar and the left arm to stay straight. Without that I can't put any weight on the left hand and thus require lots more attention to my right arm and balancing.
