Learning to Speak Again

The brain can regain language abilities even years after a stroke -- and training the toughest language tasks, not the easiest, first may be the best recovery strategy.

Rest at the link. I doubt the friends that I have that are aphasic will think much about working on tough language tasks first. Although if swearing is involved one guy will probably succeed.
