UCLA researchers awarded $11 million grant to develop stroke prevention interventions for minorites

For that $11m we could probably engage 6 teams of researchers to look at existing research and translate it into stroke protocols that could reduce the number of dead neurons due to the cascade of death. That would make too much sense and go against the belief that prevention is the only way to tackle stroke.

Hell there might even be someone in the WSO or stroke associations that could tackle the  protocol subject. They obviously aren't doing anything else important.
