Chickenpox Linked To Stroke Risk: Kids 4 Times More Likely To Have Stroke Within 6 Months Of Infection
I not only had chicken pox, but then had Reye's Syndrome, a rare but often fatal sequela--that includes inflammation of the brain.
No doctor has thought there was a link between Reye's (at 3yrs) and unexplained brain hemorrhage (at 45yrs). But I think I need to track down the authors of those studies.
