I blog on anything to do with stroke. DO NOT DO ANYTHING SUGGESTED HERE AS I AM NOT MEDICALLY TRAINED, YOUR DOCTOR IS, LISTEN TO THEM. BUT I BET THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET YOU 100% RECOVERED. I DON'T EITHER BUT HAVE PLENTY OF QUESTIONS FOR YOUR DOCTOR TO ANSWER.
It needs to be the doctor's responsibility to tell their patients how important inpatient rehab is, I agree. But that's called leadership, and doctors don't do that. They leave it to therapists, and they're allergic to the subject of neuroplasticity. So the patients learn nothing, and all that recovery goes to the outside dumpsters. The patients instead get taught Learned Non-Use and how to turn their hand and arms into great organic cup-holders.
