This just perpetuates the myth that 80% of strokes are easily preventable.

Stroke researchers and technology developers have teamed up to design
a new phone application which they hope will help save lives.
Specialists from AUT are the brains behind a new app which they say can help detect a person's stroke risk.
Users can calculate their risk by simply entering their age, blood
pressure reading and dietary habits into the free Stroke Riskometer.
Professor Valery Feigin said the app is very simple to use.
If I were to have taken that test 7 years ago the risk would have been nil.
