Brain function 'boosted for days after reading a novel'
Thanks. I have read fiction continuously since the stroke and it's good to know I was working on my recovery all those hours. Holding a book and turning pages was so challenging that I "had" to get an iPad to be able to read at the pace I wanted (not having to pick the book up and find my place again after dropping it).
