Help Us Make a Difference in Your State for Stroke

Another email from the NSA - National Stroke Association just proving that they don't understand how to change the stroke world. You would go directly to the stroke centers in each state and provide them with the appropriate stroke protocols. None of this second hand influence by dumping your responsibilities onto the public. Once again proving you are just a press release organization.
Dear dean,
Get StartedNational Stroke Association is committed to improving the lives of stroke survivors, caregivers and their families. One of the ways we do this is to make it easy for you to join us in making the stroke community heard in statehouses across the country.
Why is this important? Because state laws impact how stroke is diagnosed and treated every day. States regulate healthcare facilities, oversee medical licenses and can provide services to vulnerable populations, such as stroke survivors who don’t have enough insurance to cover their needs. All these things have an impact on the lives of survivors and their loved ones.
How can you help make sure that your state’s laws support the stroke community? We’ve made it easy! Visit our State Advocacy Action Center and find out what your state legislators are doing about stroke. If you’re not already a network member, join today. (If you receive our monthly e-newsletter, then you’re already a member.) We’ll let you know when your state legislators are talking about stroke and give you easy ways to communicate with them about those issues.
Help us improve the lives of stroke survivors across your state. It only takes a minute to make a big difference.
Sincerely,
signed by Coral Cosway
