Laying around

I had good intentions this weekend. After coming back from Italy most of our snow cover was gone but luckily the very next day it snowed 6 inches. I had great intentions to go cross-country skiing but the 50 degree heat on Friday softened and settled most of that. Feeling tired and lazy I watched a few movies and justified laying around by all the walking I had done in Italy. Finally on Sunday evening I walked the crusty trails with sunken bootprints all over. My gumshoe boots have no ankle support so it makes it even harder to stay upright. After 30 minutes of walking in 20 degree weather I made a 15 minute phone call outside because service is bad inside. My good hand pinky finger practically froze, this is bizarre because my affected hand was not being moved at all and was exposed just as long and did not get cold.
