With the appalling efficacy of tPA at 12% and the complete lack of any therapy in the first week, the whole structure and strategy of how to address stroke is needed. But no one will do that because that is a change in the status quo. And the first way to address this is to get away from subjective diagnosis of strokes, that even ER doctors fail at. They don't even acknowledge that this is completely their failure and victim blame the women.
