Do all docs need to be hit by a car to understand the patient perspective?

I doubt any of our doctors understand the survivors perspective even with thousands upon thousands of survivors writing their experiences on the web.

  1. Yes, Dean, I think they do need to become a patient before understanding our predicament. Neurologist Oliver Sacks, as brilliant as he is, had to lose the use of one leg in order to get it. Read, "A Leg to Stand On."
