One in three Alzheimer's cases preventable, says research

This follows the same route that stroke associations use to put all responsibility for your Alzheimers or stroke problem on you rather than have doctors be responsible for anything. In strokes' case the number is 80% are preventable.

Writing in The Lancet Neurology, the Cambridge team analysed population-based data to work out the main seven risk factors for Alzheimer's disease.
These are:
  • Diabetes
  • Mid-life hypertension
  • Mid-life obesity
  • Physical inactivity
  • Depression
  • Smoking
  • Low educational attainment
More at link.

I have none of these risk factors so I guess I shouldn't get Alzheimers.
I had no risk factors for stroke but I still had a pretty massive one.
