Thunderstorm stroke rehab
At one of the late afternoon venues we were watching the wind whip the trees around and black thunderheads approach us. We are at the farthest venue from the parking lot, maybe 1/2 mile. When it does start raining we pick up and start out. Halfway back the skies opened up and everyone got drenched, my raincoat didn't help at all in keeping my pants dry. My ability to run is non-existent and my friends stuck with me at a fast walk even though they could have gotten there in half the time. The temperature dropped from mid 80s to high 50s in 30 minutes. We cranked up the heat for the drive back to camp and changing into dry clothes. While there we had some wine and beer to warm us up.
