'You cannot mange what you cannot measure'

Possibly from management thinker Peter Drucker. Correction - Quote from William Edwards Deming. And our stroke hospitals, doctors and therapists are completely failing at this. Our hospitals don't seem to measure anything to do with stroke results, just the stupid processes they are following.  Thus every stroke department head should be fired if they have no clue what they aren't measuring.  With no measurements or starting point we will never know what stroke protocols work best. But our stroke medical providers are great at deflecting questions by parroting the insanely stupid comment, 'All strokes are different, all stroke recoveries are different'.

That's my rant for the day.
