Vibra Rehabilitation Hospital of Amarillo, a 44-bed acute inpatient
medical rehabilitation hospital, has received the industry recognized
Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities accreditation
for inpatient rehabilitation programs in hospitals for adults and
inpatient rehabilitation programs in hospitals for stroke specialty
programs for adults.
By receiving these three-year accreditations, Vibra Rehab Hospital
has distinguished itself as the first rehabilitation hospital in the
Texas Panhandle to receive accreditation from CARF for its inpatient
rehabilitation programs and inpatient stroke specialty program.
Vibra Rehab Hospital applied for CARF accreditation in June with a
commitment to attain the highest level of accreditation that can be
awarded to a rehabilitation organization.
The rehabilitation industry recognizes CARF as an independent,
nonprofit accrediting body that establishes consumer-focused standards
to help organizations measure and improve their programs and services.(Nothing about results).
Receiving CARF accreditation demonstrates that Vibra Rehabilitation
Hospital of Amarillo is committed to offering programs and services that
are measurable, accountable, and of the highest quality.
“We are very proud that Vibra Rehabilitation Hospital of Amarillo is
being recognized as the only CARF accredited freestanding acute
inpatient medical rehabilitation hospital in Amarillo and the
surrounding 25 counties of the Panhandle region,” said Michael Long,
vice president of operations for Vibra Healthcare LLC. “By offering CARF
accredited adult inpatient medical rehabilitation and inpatient stroke
specialty programs through a recognized team of specially trained
physicians, therapists, nurses and clinical staff that are all focused
entirely on each patient’s rehabilitation needs, Vibra Rehab Hospital is
recognized as the leading comprehensive medical rehabilitation provider
in the region.”
Vibra of Amarillo is located at 7200 S.W. Ninth Ave. For additional information, visit http://www.vrhamarillo.com.
I couldn't find any stroke standards at the CARF website - http://www.carf.org/home/
so with nothing public, this is completely f*cking worthless.
