Building and Sustaining a Telestroke Network: It’s More than Technology

By going down this route they are just delaying finding a better replacement for the failures of tPA. It only fully works 12% of the time. Why the f*ck are we not focusing all our efforts on replacing it? Doesn't anyone in the stroke medical world care about the trillions of neurons dying each day because we haven't replaced tPA even though we knew almost immediately back in 1996 that it barely worked?
