Worldwide aging population and stroke

Looking at the general aging trends, I don't see any hope for stroke survivors in the future under current scenarios. Stroke right now is a complete failure: And nobody is acknowledging that, least of all the ASA, NSA and WSO.
1. tPA efficacy is only 12%
2. Only 10% of patients get to full recovery.
3. Nothing to cure fatigue, spasticity, cognitive decline, aphasia.
4. We are not stopping all the dying of neurons in the neuronal cascade of death.
If we just triple the number of strokes between now and 2100 and don't fix any of these problems, future stroke survivors are going to be totally fucking screwed.
