Bridging the Gap: Developing a Hospital and Community Care Pathway for Stroke Survivors - British Columbia

While this is a good report they haven't addressed the root cause of the community integration problem. That root cause is the lack of available interventions while the stroke is occurring and directly afterward. With less dead and damaged neurons recovery would be much easier.
That tPA only works completely 12% of the time?  
NO therapies to stop the neuronal cascade of death in the first week. Solve the correct problem not just the secondary issues.
