With this as a reality our stroke world should stop blaming the victim and instead come up with solutions that are not time-dependent and barely work anyway(tPA?). There are lots of possibilities that just need additional research in the first days. I've only written about 484 posts on hyperacute items. Some of them should pan out.
Leaders solve problems, they don't blame victims for not following correct processes they know nothing about. But we can't expect anything better from our stroke associations.
