When patient advocates are better than doctors

Considering how poorly doctors are helping stroke survivors - Only 10% get to almost full recovery, and the complete lack of stroke rehab protocols there seems to be little reason to trust your doctor in anything to do with your stroke. But don't listen to me, I'm just an extreme example of a non-medical person being a patient advocate.

  1. Hmm, I've been a patient advocate for decades, but was never paid for it. Darn, if only I'd known.
