Fatty ankle

While doing all the walking while on vacation in France I noticed that my left affected ankle seemed swollen every night. I assumed that was because I still don't walk correctly and inflammation was the result.  It continued after the vacation and was finally explained when I saw my cardiologist for post catheterisation checkup. It seems that my blood pressure medication Amlodipine has a side effect of edema in the extremities. Yesterday while wearing fairly tight Italian shoes the swelling was pronounced. I will see about changing this med next time I see him.
