This is where a great stroke leader would shine, first by creating a stroke strategy and tying research proposals to that strategy which should be able to shake money out of foundations wanting to solve all the problems in stroke. That does mean getting away from this fucking 'happy talk' that everything in stroke is hunky-dory. But we have jackshit for stroke leaders and have for decades.
