randomized controlled trial aim to evaluate the impacts of hormone
therapy on brain structure in recently postmenopausal women. The authors
reveal that ventricular volumes increased to a greater extent in
recently menopausal women who got CEE contrasted with placebo but
without changes in cognitive performance. The findings ought to be
interpreted with caution and require confirmation due to small sample
size and the follow–up limited to 4 years.
