On the road again

Now I'm working Mon-Thursday in Chicago. Total time to get here by flying is 6 hours using approved flights. Driving would take 3.5 hours. Have yet to get a coherent answer if there is a limit on travel using your own car. It would probably save 5-600 dollars a trip. Likely to be here for the rest of the year.
