Altoids for stroke rehab

Would providing this to stroke survivors be a useful way for enriched environment to be created for taste and olfactory senses? We'll never know because this research would be too difficult to set up and the expense would be outrageous. Our fucking failures of stroke associations couldn't even fund and run this research.  This would seem to be similar to

the Szechuan pepper that sends the equivalent of 50 light taps to the brain per second. 

I bet you would rather do the Altoid although I bet the Szechuan pepper would help you recover faster.
