Is ignorance the problem? For solving stroke?

These lines from Seth Godin here are indicative of the stroke problem I'm trying to solve. To get our stroke professionals to solve all the fucking problems in stroke, rather than sticking their heads up their asses and ignoring survivors.  Our stroke medical professionals don't seem to care about what stroke survivors want to accomplish. 100% recovery for all.

The thing is, ignorance is rarely the problem.
The challenge is that people don't always care about what you care about. And the reason they don't care isn't that they don't know what you know.
