Retirement - It happened

My last contract in Boston had a very toxic environment. My project lead was into making sure that none of the problems in the project would point back to him. As a result he was trying his best to set me up for blame with misleading emails.  Because I wasn't playing nice with such crap I was released early from the contract. That precipitated the whole, why not retire now? My financial planner says I have enough to live on for 30+ years.  Will take full SS when I reach 66 years and 4 months assuming it still exists.
Lots to do;
Sleep
Write books
Travel a lot
Swim
Bicycle, will get a 3 wheel folding recumbent.
Have fun
Drink to excess.
Learn Spanish, 4 books and 2 DVDs in possession
Do a TED talk
Run a stroke research foundation.

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do, so throw off the bowlines, sail away from safe harbor, catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore, Dream, Discover."
- Mark Twain

I'm doing the Hunter S. Thompson thing;
“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!”

If dementia rears its ugly head I've consulted with several friends to tell me it is occurring in myself so I can  use that wingsuit to jump off a cliff and slam right back into the cliff.  My Dad has dementia, I don't want to go there. It is like Charlie in Flowers for Algernon.
