In the Fight Against Stroke, You’re the Cure! In the grassroots world, joining with like-minded organizations can better amplify our voice. That’s why  the National Stroke Association has made the decision to fold its efforts into the American Stroke Association division of the American Heart Association, and now we want to invite you to join the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association’s nationwide grassroots network You’re the Cure! You’re the Cure advocates have been a leading voice on stroke issues and were instrumental to the passage of the Furthering Access to Stroke Telemedicine Act to improve access to stroke telemedicine and to the repeal of Medicare’s caps on outpatient therapy services in 2018. You will be joining a fantastic and dedicated group of advocates. There are many ways you can help prevent stroke and heart disease, often times these actions can take as little as 30 seconds, but they have a MAJOR impact.
