What objective proof do you have that your stroke doctors and stroke hospital have any clue how to get you recovered? We're talking recovery here not compensation. Has your doctor ever said? 'If you do this, this and this you will recover that function.' Ask your doctor what the prescriptions said to the PT, OT and ST. If it said; E.T.(Evaluate and Treat), that means your doctor knows zilch about stroke recovery. You are completely on your own. Hope you like to research stuff, because you'll be spending days looking for recovery options that work.  Read the nihilism post on stroke to get an idea of what you are up against.  Your doctor and hospital are responsible for getting you recovered. Don't let them weasel their way out by providing excuses why it can't be done. They have had decades to come up with solutions.
