For the first few weeks and months after a stroke, the brain is locked and loaded for recovery. Now is the time to act. As soon as your doctor says you’re ready, early and intense rehabilitation can help you achieve optimal success.

Your definition of success is the appalling tyranny of low expectations. Better than you were immediately post stroke but nowhere close to 100% recovery.  These people should all be shot.
