Walking London

Lots of walking needed in London, here is a map of famous spots near the metro stops.

Doing the tube requires the ability to do lots of steps.  The bus system is easier, no steps unless you climb to the top of a double decker. One time coming down from the top, the driver hit the brakes and only my strong right hand grip prevented me from launching down the stairwell. You do have to know in advance when your stop is coming up so you can make it down the steps in time. The views up there are great, I preferred the bus to the tube.
