2019: To close out a decade of progress, new ways of thinking about cardiology emerge

As far as I can see stroke/neurology is in a total black hole, NO STRATEGY, NO LEADERSHIP, NO PROGRESS, NO THINKING and nothing that even suggests anyone knows what to do to solve stroke.  Hell, I'll be arrogant and say it would be easy, put me in charge. There are 10s of thousands of followup research needed. 

It is not arrogance if what you say is true.
