Microstroke Recovery Restores Blood Flow Before Brain Tissue

This is precisely why reperfusion should not be the objective of clinical trials. The objective should be 100% recovery and the reason why expanding use of tPA to 4.5 hours was based on wrong objectives.  If we were to look at tPA objectively and its' ability to get 100% recovery then we would have considered a 12% tPA full recovery rate a complete and abject failure and started looking for something better 24 years ago. But no, we continue down the tPA path because no one wants to acknowledge it is a failure.
