I should have gotten this tutorial from my physical therapist while
still in the hospital. I'm in the process of losing a second toenail
because my elastic laces for my hiking shoes are not tight enough to
prevent sliding in the toe box when going down hills. This will allow me
to use real hiking boots from now on. The first lost toenail was my
left big toe in Rome where velcro laces were not tight enough. This will really help if I manage next year to start hiking the Colorado 14ers. I already have my walking stick and a collapsible 3 legged chair for resting and eating.
