 You can look at brain injury questions starting on page 161. In the 138 questions I found NOTHING  that would help survivors recover.  So PM&R is not even trying to get stroke survivors recovered.  What the fucking hell is your PM&R doctor for then? Mine knew nothing and did nothing as evidenced by his writing three prescriptions of ET(Evaluate and Treat) to PT, OT, ST.  I could train a chimp to do that.

Telling stroke medical persons they know nothing about stroke is a no-no even if it is true. 

Politeness will never solve anything in stroke. Yes, I'm a bomb thrower and proud of it. Someday a stroke 'leader' will try to ream me out for making them look bad by being truthful , I look forward to that day.
