The First Necessary Step to Improve Your Life is to Learn to Challenge Your Damaging Cognitive Distortions from Debbie Hampton

I just want to focus on two lines from there:

I think all human beings have one fundamental goal in common. We all want to find some level of happiness, contentment, and peace.

In the book: '8 mindful steps to Happiness: Walking the Buddha's Path' there is this point. 'Desire causes suffering'; page 52.
