In Bhutan lots of people are chanting the 108(108 represents the number of mortal desires of mankind which one must overcome to achieve Nirvana.) using the left hand to count the beads on the mala while spinning the prayer wheel with the right hand. My doctor and therapist totally failed at recovering the left hand. They excused that failure by citing proximal to distal recovery(which is a totally bogus excuse).
