Improving stroke services - lessons from the latest NIHR research

Unless YOU GET INVOLVED, they will never work on the only goal in stroke; 100% RECOVERY!  All because there is NO leadership and NO strategy in stroke, since survivors are not in charge.

Description
If you are a healthcare professional or a researcher with an interest in stroke, this webinar is for you. Three expert researchers will discuss some of the most exciting stroke research funded by the NIHR. This engaging webinar will cover research across the stroke journey, from stroke management to early supported discharge and speech and language therapy. Our Q&A session will give you a unique opportunity to quiz the researchers on how this research could be implemented at your institution and reflect on potential barriers and facilitators. By attending this webinar you should understand: - how machine learning can improve stroke management and access to thrombolysis - how teams can best implement early supported discharge for people who have had a stroke - the most effective way to deliver speech and language therapy for people who develop aphasia after having a stroke
