longer boot laces

 While my lock/lace system works on my boots, there is one major flaw.  The laces don't open up enough to easily get the hiking boots on and off. I noticed this in airports when traveling to/from Bhutan. Wearing the boots to allow more space in luggage.  Will swap out with parachute cord.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Added much longer parachute cord to allow the tongue to open up completely. It took me 30 minutes to get each lace thru the locking circle because the melted tips didn't easily go thru even when I used a vise grip to hold the button shut.
