Doctor and therapist failure to train on shoveling snow

This was in Minneapolis which definitely gets snow in winter. I can do one handed shoveling with a straight shovel handle but it requires an incredibly strong grip and the load must be even. Currently back at my Moms' in Minnesota  and she has this U attachment that makes it much easier, I grab the upper bend with my right hand and the D handle fits just right against my elbow so I have leverage to throw the snow. I think 4 inches is about the limit before I have take very small scoops. It is impossible to get my left hand into a glove or mitten so doing shoveling the correct way will not work. All because my stroke medical 'professionals' completely failed at curing my spasticity!
