Stroke Support Organization Toolkit Update - WSO
You can look at this all you want but nothing here gets survivors fully recovered! Talk about 'care and support; BUT NOT RECOVERY!
One word from this sentence from there tells you all you need to know about WSO incompetency!
One of WSO’s strategic priorities is to engage with health care professionals, stroke support organizations and people with lived experience to increase understanding of the importance of quality stroke 'care' across the continuum. (Survivors don't fucking care about 'care'; they want recovery! When the hell will you provide that?)
Notice that nothing tells you if any of this gets you 100% recovered; the only goal in stroke! And the WSO is NOT EVEN WORKING TOWARDS THAT!

Telling supposedly smart stroke medical persons they know nothing about stroke is a no-no even if it is true.
Politeness
will never solve anything in stroke. Yes, I'm a bomb thrower and proud
of it. Someday a stroke 'leader' will try to ream me out for making them look bad by being truthful, I
look forward to that day.
