Failure of my medical team to get plastic wrappers on supplement bottles off

 Lots of my supplement bottles are shrink wrapped in plastic. The normal course would be to put it in my left hand and cut the wrapping with a knife. Most bottles are way too small for any ability to grip them with enough force to do this. So, complete failure. I have to sit down, put the bottle between my knees and cut the wrapping without stabbing myself.

 No training of any kind from my stroke medical 'professionals' on how to open jars of any size.  I figured out on my own I needed an under-cabinet jar opener. Works great, but why didn't I get that info from my 'professionals'?
