Wearable therapy

I found this from Jen at Postcards from Therapy

Wearable therapy

It looks like another possibility for eStim that our therapists should be presenting to us. Not sure about the costs but I'm sure its not cheap.
NeuroProsthetic Systems are electrical stimulation devices that are worn on the body throughout the day to impart function to the limbs or trunk and substitute for the loss of function by generating muscle movements at appropriate times of sitting, standing, walking, and arm function.  Patients with central nervous system injury or disorders are candidates for NeuroProsthetic devices. This technology can also, in certain circumstances, eliminate or reduce the need for bracing.
