5 foods that fight high cholesterol

This comes from the Harvard Medical School so I expected a better writeup than this simplification of the issue.

  2. Beans.
  3. Nuts.
  4. Foods fortified with sterols and stanols. .
  5. Fatty fish.
They are making an unstated assumption that reducing cholesterol is good for you. See this for the research on stroke correlation.
Ask you doctor for his/her opinion on the correlation with heart disease.  
Don't listen to anything I have to say, that is what your doctors are for.
